Teilweiser oder völliger Verlust der Schreibfähigkeit, nach erfolgtem Schriftspracherwerb aufgrund einer Hirnschädigung. Auftretende Fehlleistungen werden als Paragraphien bezeichnet. Die Analyse der beobachtbaren Defizite in der Kulturtechnik Schreiben hat zu einer neurolinguistisch, also funktional basierten Taxonomie geführt. Bei der Befundung und Diagnose von Schreibstörungen sollte das prämorbide Leistungsniveau in die Überlegung einbezogen werden, weil es gerade bei den Kulturtechniken große interindividuelle Unterschiede gibt.
